My daughter's school has a field trip scheduled in a couple of weeks. This will be her first field trip IF I allow her to go. There's no room for me to attend. My daughter is SUPER excited about the trip because the teacher announced to the class she'd be taking them to the CIRCUS! Do you let your child attend school field trips without you? If so, how should I prepare? If no, why not?

Mine is not old enough but yes I would let her attend if she was, I went on all my field trips without my parents and to tell you the truth I wouldn't have wanted them there LOL, you know how kids are LOL, I would also let mine go because I wouldn't want her to feel like the outcast for not attending.

The fieldtrips that I have attended with my kids have been HELL!! They misbehaved to much with me there--like they were trying to show off for their friends. I would definitely let her go, and you could try to attend a fieldtrip with her at a later date. Maybe she won't behave like my boys did. It would be a shame if she missed out on her first trip.

My daughter has went on several field trips (all of which I gave her permission to go on). I've also chaperoned some too. Everything went fine. :)
